2nd – 8th January 2017
Designed for beginners and those who have done some drawing but would like some more formal guidance, this workshop looks at different approaches to drawing and explores a range of techniques and materials. It gives participants the time and space to really immerse themselves in their drawing and produce strong confident finished work – from large scale drawings done standing to an easel to plein air sketching. We will also select from and augment this work to put together a small artist’s book. A wonderful way to develop new skills and hone existing ones.
Full course details and on-line enrolments will be available later this month on the Sturt website. Why not think about enrolling with some friends? Numerous past students have made the summer school a regular event on their annual calendar. It’s a great start to the year, an opportunity to escape regular routines, catch up with old friends, make new ones and above all – be inspired!
